To the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS):

YB Chong suggested creating a Centralized Platform for Youth Delegates and integrating Youth Leaders into Steering Committees or National Councils across ministries, emphasizing the significance of engaging youth experts in national dialogues. She queried the Ministry’s intentions regarding the implementation of these strategies to harness the youth's potential in national development efforts.

MCYS’ Response:

The Minister stressed the significance of engaging both youth and senior citizens in nation-building endeavours, prioritizing merit over age and emphasizing the need for mutual cooperation and respect for diverse perspectives. He commended recent initiatives such as youth town halls and the Young Professional Network for their role in facilitating intergenerational dialogue.
